The coronavirus pandemic has challenged every industry and every individual. Due to our role in facilitating vital international supply chains, Stolt Tank Containers’ services have been designated as essential throughout the crisis. While we’ve been happy to be able to continue our business, this has placed a heavy burden of responsibility on all our vendors, upon whom we rely to fulfil our customer commitments.
When focussing on providing a seamless customer experience, it can be easy to lose sight of the different challenges our numerous vendors have also had to overcome, to enable us to deliver continuity of service. Essential work, such as driving trucks, which cannot be done from home, suddenly became more challenging due to closure of facilities such as rest stops. And all those working in our depots have had to do so under a whole new set of safety rules. We could give many more examples …
