We would like to provide an update in light of the rapidly evolving security situation in and around the Arabian Gulf, which is impacting vessel movements and port operations across the region. Merchant shipping through the Strait of Hormuz is currently disrupted, and several carriers have suspended or restricted bookings to and from affected countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, and Oman.
As a result, schedule disruptions, extended transit times, booking limitations, and additional surcharges (including War Risk Surcharges) may apply. In some cases, securing space and confirmations may become increasingly challenging.
The safety of your cargo and the reliability of your supply chain remain our highest priorities. We are closely monitoring developments and assessing the impact on both current and future bookings. Our offices and teams across the region are closely monitoring the situation, working directly with carriers, terminals, and local authorities to mitigate disruptions wherever possible.
